The Brome Lake Duck Festival is iconic for our village. Celebrating our famous Brome Lake Duck in all its forms, we also put a spotlight on our local agro-tourism while enjoying one of the most beautiful times of year in our area-leaf peeping!
Now into its 20th year, the Duck Festival has transformed itself many times to it’s now successful formula. The landscape of the town of Knowlton is dotted with dozens of tents from which vendors of local wines, cheeses, spices and candies tempt you with samples of their delicious offerings. Take the time to learn to cook a recipe using Brome Lake Duck with our cooking classes in Coldbrook Park.
Enjoy live music on the street corners.

And of course, we didn’t forget the little ones. Our petting zoo will keep them amused, creative workshops around Knowlton to make their own duck cookie, rubber duckies and Mr. Wow will keep them busy while you take your time.
Naturally a visit to Knowlton wouldn’t be complete without shopping in the lovely boutiques or having a delicious meal made by our renowned chefs in one of our many restaurants and cafes. And this year, sampling the food trucks will keep your taste buds happy!

The duck race !
A highlights of our festival
is fun for all !

Purchase a ticket during the two weekends for only $2. Then when all the tickets are gone, we dump thousands of plastic ducks into Mill Pond where they go over the falls and make their way to the Maple street bridge. The first duckies to “swim” across the finish line will be rewarded with prizes! So exciting to watch! The money raised is shared with the Yamaska Valley Optimist Club which help children and families in need in the area.
